Vocations Committee
The Vocations Committee meets the first Tuesday of each month at 2:00 PM. They gather in the Main Conference Room where they pray for vocations.
This group prays for those to answer their Vocational Calling while doing other services as well. Every February the committee writes Valentine Cards to Diocese of Davenport Seminarians. New in 2023 they did a small gift of appreciation for the Altar Servers at the Cathedral.

Valentines for Seminarians
The Cathedral will be collecting Valentines again this year for the Diocese of Davenport Seminarians. Please consider taking time to pray for our seminarians and write them a card. This is a great activity for all ages to participate in. All valentines are due by Sunday, Feb. 4th to Sacred Heart Cathedral. Please look for the heart gift bags in the Gathering Space which will be collecting the valentines.

Vocations in our Parish Community
During the 9:00 AM Mass on Sunday, July 9, 2023 Fr. Thom gave a special blessing over Nate Suetter, son of Ed & Jana Suetter. Nate will be going to the Noviate for the Dominican Order.
In 2017 Nate also did is Eagle Scout Project at Sacred Heart Cathedral’s Clothing Center.
Please keep Nate in your prayers as he continues to discern his Vocational Calling.
